So I've been doing UW runs for a while... What I don't understand is how those freak'in necros expect me to not use bonetti(because it makes SV ineffective) AND tank 8-10 smites at the same time...

Maybe I just suck or something... but mostly I just don't think the necros know how tough our job is... Since SS/SVs are so much easier to make, every noob out there can make one...

I just wanted to get this off my chest and listen to what method you guys use to deal with those smites.

Your not suppose to leave it on the entire time. Use it when YOU feel your about to die, Wait to build up a bit of adrenaline, use Healing Breeze followed by a fast Protective Spirit, then Bonettis.

Against 8-10 you are fine with Divine Favor bonus only however since PS has a 5s recharge you will sometimes need to use bonettis. Just cast Breeze and PS whenever you can and use Bonettis to cover the delay between your casts. That's when you have SV on, duh. Just don't use it the whole time.

However, against about 13 and up, you will need it on the whole time else you are dead. If the necro complains then just ask him to monk for next run. SV will work even if you have Bonettis on most time against 13 and up since you will still be taking hits.

Agreed.... Once I get more then 10+ on me I use Bonetti's this NEVER has caused a necro to have any problems.. I generally do smite runs with my guildie and he has no problems dropping more then 10+ smites super quick when I use Bonetti's.. 13 is a good number too I guess.. but I use it with 10+..

They get through enough to still be effected by bonetti's...

Personally, I don't use Bonetti's at all in UW. I go Mo/Me for Mantra of Resolve and use my 12 DF bonus to stay alive by spamming PS and Breeze.

Yeah, but you cannot take as many smites as if you used bonettis.

Against large groups, you will *NEED* to cast Bonettis and Breeze only when Bonettis is flashing followed by PS then immediatly cast Bonettis. If you don't you'll die.

Large groups are no joke, this time I was up against 15 I think, and used PS rather than breeze first, and died (Bonettis>PS>Breeze).

Other time I was against 17 and tried (Bonettis>PS>Bonettis) and died after holding them for a while =_=
